This site is a hobby and passion project of mine to both learn and share new technologies and make information free to the internet.
I’m a self-taught technologist by night and a professional security architect and engineer by day.
Started as a high-school drop-out with a GED from Lake County, Indiana. Working minimum wage jobs at Fast Food.
Eventually, I attended community college, got a bachelors in economics and finance and masters in cyber-security and enterprise systems.
Starting from the bottom, has brought me a sense of pride for the journey my wife and I have taken. I’m super proud if this site, all my mistakes and the cool things I’ve done too.
My training helped me put my wife through school to become a Dentist. Together we started a Dental Practice, which she runs and operates. She provides low-cost quality care without the greed of corporate medicine.
It’s not all business and tech, I grew up skateboarding and riding BMX. I started a non-profit in Texas as a passion project called, www.handlebarsforhope.org which brought safety equipment and help change local codes for BMX.
Over the years, I found a passion learning more and more and spending countless personal hours teaching myself programming, automation, cloud security, and writing my journey in this blog.
Although I don’t claim to be the smartest, I certainly love learning and sharing knowledge with others.
